Painting Guided Study
In this guided study class you will become more proficient and knowledgeable about acrylic paint, composition, design and observation to create successful outcomes with your painting projects. It is intended for artists who want to work on personal projects looking for feedback, advice and support in a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Ken will share his decades of acrylic painting experience. You will work from a reference photo of your choice in collaboration with Ken.
Landscapes, still life, surrealism and portraiture are all topics open for exploration. We will have discussions on composition, design, value, and color in addition to drawing skills as they arise in the ongoing works in class. Students will have time to work during the class period to implement the suggestions that are discussed to ensure they are on track to complete paintings they will be proud of.
